Our Team
Lluis, the founder of SEPMAG, is an experimented physicist with a Ph.D. in Magnetic Materials from UAB. With a global career spanning over 30 years, he has worked in academic, corporate settings across Germany, Spain, Ireland, Japan, and the USA, specializing in the application of magnetic materials and sensors to enhance industrial products and processes. Lluis has filed numerous international patents, contributing innovations to sectors like textile machinery, automotive, and biotechnology. Since 2004, he has focused on providing the IVD & Life Science industry with advanced equipment for the efficient and scalable use of magnetic beads.
Josep-Maria has executive experience in In Vitro Diagnostics - human and veterinary - and Logistics industries in Europe and the US as well as business development in Asia, Brazil and South Africa. Most recently and as Director GM Southern Europe at IDEXX Laboratories, he developed the business from a small entrepreneurial team in Spain to 20 countries in 3 continents. Josep-Maria earned his MBA at ESADE Business School.
Bryan serves as Managing Director of Allema, Inc., and brings more than two decades of commercial experience in biotechnology and life sciences. He has been involved in business development, direct sales, marketing, and leadership roles for various large and small organizations, including: IDEX Health and Science, Dynal Biotech/Thermo Fisher, Sartorius, and Percorso Life Sciences. Bryan holds a BS in Microbiology and Biology from the University of Texas (Arlington), and a BS in Management from the University of Oklahoma.
Ilenia joined SEPMAG in 2019 and since then she has been developing new opportunities in Europe and the areas where we do not have local support. She has an Industrial Engineering diploma from the ITIS Q. Sella, Biella (Italy), a marketing background and she has been working in International Business Development since 2003. She will be glad to talk with you in English, French, Spanish, and Italian!
