The Sepmag A systems enable the execution of perfectly reproducible experiments, effectively eliminating common issues such as aggregation. Scientists often need to work with a wide range of volumes, starting with small tubes and increasing sample size when processes are optimized or simply when sample volumes vary.

With the Sepmag A Magnetic Bead Separators, users can begin with 1.5, 10, and 50 ml tubes and easily scale up to 200 ml (Sepmag A200ml) or 400 ml (Sepmag A400ml) volumes. Each system comes with a standard holder that accommodates various tubes sizes, and customizable adapters are available to meet specific user requirements.

Processes are monitored and recorded using the MONITOR hardware and software, which allows scientists to explore and understand in real time the effects of bead size, concentration and buffer conditions on the separation process.

Magnetic separation enables the replacement of traditional filtration, centrifugation and separation techniques with a quick, efficient and clean process. At the laboratory scale, SEPMAG’s proprietary technology generates constant and well-defined magnetic force patterns across a largee bore, with animal stray fields. This approach eliminates aggregation issues, allows for perfectly reproducible experiments, and accommodates varying volumes.

For volumes from 1 to 50 ml, the SEPMAG LAB series provides a strong separation force combined with easy re-suspension, making it particulary suitable for viscous media and small magnetic beads/particles.
