Author: Anabel Lermo
Dr. Anabel Lermo holds a PhD in Chemistry from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and is an experienced Research Scientist specializing in In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD). She began her career with postdoctoral research at UAB’s Analytical Chemistry Division, focusing on immunoassay development for biosensor design. She then joined Biokit, part of the Werfen Group, where for seven years she contributed to the development of chemiluminescent immunoassays for automated platforms in the field of infectious diseases. More recently, she worked at Pragmatic Diagnostics, leading the design of innovative assays that integrate immunometric technologies with advanced analytical platforms for the IVD industry.
